The greatest among you will be your servant. Matthew 23:11

At First Christian Church, we embrace the call of God in the lives of all, regardless of gender, life experience, or background.

Both ministers and lay persons lead in worship, service and spiritual growth. We affirm the ministry of all believers, rejoicing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit—including the gift of leadership—that God has given for the common good. We embrace the opportunity within our congregations to share experiences and perspectives, learn from each other, and find ways to live out our faith in community.
